the quality that comes from the land

The backdrop to our story is that of a truly unique territory, the Basso Veronese, which indicates the vast plains south of Verona. This is an incredibly fertile land, rich in water springs and blessed with a mild climate. All this allows for the prosperous growth of rice – especially the Vialone Nano variety—as well as Verona’s red radicchio, Guà potato, Arcole’s asparagus, savoy cabbage, kohlrabi, orchards, and vineyards aplenty. These high-quality ingredients are a real treat for our palates.

This is the land where, for the first time, Antonio Grazia planted the seeds of his dream, which eventually came true: building a successful company that fully respects the important balance between nature and tradition.

The ploughing, the flooding, the weeding, the harvest: this is how the rice society marked time, even to the point of honouring its “white gold” with the “galzega”, the great festival at the end of the harvest. Over time, the expansion of cultivated areas has given rise to the physiognomy of a territory in which history and culture, tradition and development, food and health are interwoven. The same physiognomy of rice that the Riseria del Basso Veronese proposes.
